NUMBER OF SPACES OPEN
8/9/2021 – UPDATE: due to covid restrictions in Zimbabwe that shut down all events in August we postponed this trip. It is now rescheduled for October. Depending on how many of the original team are able to work with the new dates, we may have a few openings on the team.
6/21/21 COVID Update: the summer team to Zimbabwe is looking good at this point! We were able to take a team to Zimbabwe in December, 2020, and successfully held a camp. There are some extra hoops to jump through right now to meet all the travel guidelines, but it looks like they will be manageable. We will keep this updated as things change.
2/3/21 – The price has dropped for this trip! It used to be $2365, but with some lowered costs on our end, we can decrease the price for team members. The price also now includes the visa fee and covid test to return to the US.
In a country of orphans there’s no end to the children’s ministry needed. Zimbabwe is one of the most economically depressed countries in the world and AIDS has ravaged the adult population, leaving many orphans without training, parenting, or provision. You can be a part of loving the kids of Zimbabwe and showing them Jesus through a camp-style ministry.
In addition, you can help train a group of young adults who have graduated from the orphanages and have a heart for children’s ministry. They will work alongside our team, help us run camps, and then take the concepts of the curriculum to more villages around Zimbabwe.
Expect to be challenged as stretched as you pour out love in a part of the world that needs to experience the love of Christ in action.
