It seems a little funny to write about myself. Why don’t you just go on a trip with me and we will get to know each other that way? Teasing aside, I see the practicality of trying to introduce myself here! Okay, let’s see, I love helping people, meeting needs, developing skills, trying out new opportunities, and loving on my family and friends!
I work four days a week (when I am not traveling) at a software accounting firm. I also get to teach around twenty kids and one mom music lessons on the piano, guitar and violin each week. I love helping with different ministry opportunities throughout the year.
Having such a large family means there is always something to do or somewhere to go and it seems life never slows down!! On a weekend you may find me watercolor painting, piano accompanying, journaling, canoeing, playing volleyball, practicing music, hanging out with family, going for a run, camping, cooking, making the perfect cup of tea, or just catching up on life!!
HANNAH'S PERSPECTIVE ON INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY:
There is something so special about seeing God work in a foreign country! You get to experience His love for the World. You get to see that God is still God even when you are far away from home and everything familiar. You get to see God do amazing things in your life and in the life of those He has sent you to minister to. It’s really kind of amazing how He does it, working in both of your lives at the same time! Yet I have seen Him do it over and over again! I love Psalm 2:8 “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”
Will you join me in asking for the heathen and claiming them as God’s inheritance? Will you take steps to tell the World about Jesus’ love and saving power? These may be steps around the corner or around the world. But, don’t miss out on the exciting opportunity of serving Jesus and proclaiming His name!
