Scheduled Travels Include: Romania
Home State: Hail from St. Louis, Missouri.
Family Facts: I’m third in my family out of ten kids.
Favorite Country: I’ve loved every country I’ve been to for different reasons, so I can’t say that I have a favorite, but I loved England. I go crazy over British accents and green landscape.
Strangest food I’ve ever eaten: In South Africa we had a real delicacy- dried caterpillars. It was dark and I could’t see them well. The next morning most of us were horrified at what we ate.
I never travel without… One or two books . . . or six or seven.
Me in 12 Words or Less: [really] tall, quiet, unassuming, but full of surprises.

About Brandon:

I am passionate about getting people to think deeply about the Christian Faith. I’m currently working on an MA in religion and culture, with an emphasis in cultural apologetics from Covenant Seminary. When I’m not in class or writing papers, I’m a shift supervisor at Chick-Fil-A. When I’m not doing any of the above (on a rare basis), I love connecting with people, reading, playing music, and trying to keep up on technology news.

BRANDON’S PERSPECTIVE ON INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY:

The cool thing about international missions is that it allows us to see the gospel in a bigger light, one that’s beyond our comprehension. The Gospel is far greater than any of us can imagine, and when we encounter the Gospel outside of our normal community, it changes us, and brings us into a better knowledge of God.

One of my favorite verses comes from Revelation 7:9, and it depicts what heaven is going to look like: “This I looked, and behold, Great multitudes that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and people and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying with a loud voice, ‘salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb.’” The really cool thing about international ministry is that we get to see part of that happening when we visit other peoples and cultures. We also get the incredible privilege of being a part of making that vision come true. So go on a trip!!
