Home State: Maine
Favorite Destination: I’m definitely torn between India and Chiapas

My desk always looks like: Theoretically there’s a desk under all this stuff…
Me in 12 Words or Less: Spontaneous, people loving, fueled by coffee and adventures. Vive la vida.
I grew up in a large Christian family and spent most of my childhood running around the woods of Maine with any one or seven of my thirteen brothers and sisters. My first Global Encounters trip was in 2012 and I’ve been traveling with GE ever since! Over the years I’ve worked with teens and children, as well as some medical and disaster relief outreach, continually awed at what God has taught me and what he’s doing in my life and the lives of others. Hard situations tend to show his power and great love for us.
I love working with believers in other cultures and definitely love traveling in general. It is my goal to travel to each major ethnic group in the world (3 down countless more to go? :-). In my spare time, I love to hike, train for OCRs, practice photography and music, create things for my little shop, or loose myself in a good book. I rarely stay in one location for a lengthy period of time. Random is my comfort zone.
What I Do:
I’m the assistant to the logistics manager, with a primary focus on processing new team member applications.
