2/2/21 COVID Update: Things are looking good for mission trips to Zimbabwe in 2021! Global Encounters took a team to Zimbabwe over Christmas, 2020 and we were able to successfully hold a camp. There are a few extra hoops to jump through to meet covid travel requirements, but they are manageable.
2/3/21 – The price dropped! Some prices on our end went down so we can pass that savings on to the team members. The trip price also now includes visa costs and the covid test to return to the US.
In a country of orphans there’s no end to the children’s ministry needed. Zimbabwe is one of the most economically depressed countries in the world and AIDS has ravaged the adult population, leaving many orphans without training, parenting, or provision. You can be a part of loving the kids of Zimbabwe and showing them Jesus through a camp-style ministry.
In addition, you can help train a group of young adults who have graduated from the orphanages and have a heart for children’s ministry. They will work alongside our team, help us run camps, and then take the concepts of the curriculum to more villages around Zimbabwe.
Expect to be challenged as stretched as you pour out love in a part of the world that needs to experience the love of Christ in action.
